A Dance Weekend in one of America’s most Historic Neighborhoods

  • Come dance at the beautiful Church of St. Paul and St. Andrew!

Built in 1897 and part of the National Fund for Sacred Spaces, this historic church has a fifty-year history of serving as a food pantry and an advocate for the LGBTQ+ community. The church also supports housing migrants facing deportation and provides assistance to NYC’s asylum seekers.

COVID Policy

This years ContraShock’s COVID protocols are as follows:

  • All participants will need to provide a negative rapid or PCR test from the past 12 hours when they show up to the event the first time.

    • Either showing a picture of your test with meta-data of the time taken, or testing on site is acceptable.

  • To alleviate cost concerns the ContraShock team will be selling rapid tests on site at cost.

  • In short, no need to test before you arrive if you don’t want, just show up, test, then mask for 15 min and you're good!

  • In the event of a positive test ContraShock will issue you a refund.
